They are attributed to the ancient mystical (and perhaps mythical) Egyptian philosopher and teacher, Hermes Trismegistus. Religions and belief systems of the world have interpreted these laws in various ways to create the foundations of their beliefs. We don’t necessarily have to know or understand these laws in order to live within them, but without a working knowledge of the laws we can never fully understand how we accomplished what we did, or why we failed in our attempts. Ok, I’ve been a rebel most of my life. Railing against the laws and my assumed constrictions of my own freedom to move in any way that I choose. I may have served myself a little better had I followed some of the higher laws of the universe. I think it is just “the man” that I rebel against, seeing as how that struggle began early on with my less than emotionally involved father.

I have set a new discipline (cringe) in my life to follow some of these ancient laws as a spiritual (universal) practice.

The study I am choosing at this time are the 7 Universal laws of:

1. The Law of Mentalism: Living God
2. The Law of Correspondence: Inner and Outer Universes

3. The Law of Vibration: Everything in Motion

4. The Law of Polarity: The Answer is in the Question

5. The Law of Rhythm: All of Life is a Dance

6. The Law of Cause and Effect: “As You Sow, So Shall You Reap”

7. The Law of Gender: Yin/Yang and everything in it’s own time.

I propose to study one of these laws a week and see what new or old revelations are revealed to me regarding my purpose here, or my Soul’s mission.
