When my ego mind pretends to be my consciousness, it intellectualizes about other people’s egos. :>) It starts to feel a little superior and that’s when I know it is my own ego again.

Lately I have been spending a great deal of time observing the way mine and others egos work. Agenda would be the word I give to egos. Egos have an agenda. They want something. It doesn’t matter what that something is, they just need the energy of anything.

I observed myself recently at a small gathering once again taking the lead in conversation that had an agenda. My agenda, my egos agenda. It was quite revealing to me and half way through the discussions I wanted to back out and run away. I was embarrassed that I had started all these words that really didn’t mean anything. They sounded good and the group was quite involved in the discussion and I was sitting there in amazement by how we all thought this meant something.

Back to the drawing board.
