I believe we become so engrossed or even enamored of our daily grinds/relationships/money issues etc., that we forget we are part of a global community. Phrases like: “We are as strong as our weakest link”, come to mind when I read articles like the below link on Finding Peace in Africa. This article, by award winning Frank Bures, gives a bird’s eye view of common life in uncommon Africa. A little peek into humanities struggles for freedom after Colonial rule pulled out. I understand my brothers and sisters in that far continent a little more after reading it.
