Full Moon in Libra
This is a grand Full Moon in Libra. I love full moons, they bring out a spirited energy for me and things just seem bigger and more doable! This one should be like walking through a door and finding a whole new world you had overlooked!
This full moon asks you to network with like minded people around you. It also asks you to cooperate in justice for all and that would include ecological justice for the community/planet.
It’s a great relationship Full Moon and due to other planetary aspects you may find your heart wide open to receive more love and also to give it. It may even open your eyes to seeing what is “not love” all around you. A fine time to start letting go of those things/people etc. If you are not spiritually connected to someone, they need to go.
If you find some obstacles at this time, and maybe become a little dispirited about your situation, you probably need a closer look at what needs to be pruned from your life. Letting go can be hard, but it is essential now. Libra helps you gracefully and smoothly transition, take advantage of that energy. Even Pluto is behaving and nothing will be “ripped” away from you, but you only have a brief respite, so get to work now.
If you do find yourself in a bit of a funk around this Full Moon (4 days before and after today) use this funk to break up old negativities in your life, if it doesn’t make you happy/satisfied/hopeful etc. dump it! Just stay centered, keep your cool it all changes so fast anyway and if you lose your center you will be tossed about like a leaf on the wind.
This is a time to trust your intuitions and then act on them. This is not a time to doubt yourself. See what you want, get a clear idea of it, begin taking action no matter how small and move in the direction of your dreams or goals.
As with many of the astro vibrations right now, this is about revolutionizing your life which will help all to revolutionize their lives and so the ripple flows out to the world and voila! The paradise we dream about, peace, community, the end to poverty and disease………….a small attempt on your part and the world becomes a better place. Never discount your actions, your dreams and the effect they have on it all.

From Leela: This struck me as funny. Libra’s can’t get rid of anything – they want to keep every bit of information, every hope of a friendship or relationship and it is the scorpio energy that wants to let go.
Well, perhaps it is funny if you just look at it singly that would be so, but I like to look around and see how other aspects etc are shaping the environment around this full moon. So, if you look at the moon in Libra and the Sun in Aries, it talks about who we are in relationships and how to express that is a Venusian way. Then seeing Jupiter/Chiron/Neptune trining this Full Moon and sextiling the Sun, look’s like a lot of good heart chakra energy and hopefully able to see thru Mars sometimes trek thru an inflated ego. In other words seeing thru the illusions of it all.
I think it might just be stressful enough to open our eyes to get a bigger picture.
These aspects are so well positioned I can see it holding forth for about 2 weeks.
Also notice that the Moon is quintile to Pluto, I love that for deeper emotional responses. I love Pluto.
It’s in a cardinal sign so we can be sure to have many “new beginnings” and a deeper query into self about who we are individually.
And just noticing that the North Node of this Full Moon is in the degree of the New Moon Solar Eclipse of late January 2009, shows how powerful the effect will be for sometime to come. Almost like giving wings to a dream. Just feels like we need to embrace the new and unusual and not connected to any of our past. A breath of fresh air is what I should have called the Full Moon.
I think this Full Moon is also part of the greater eclipse energy of 2009 with Jupiter in Aquarius expanding into new areas of humanitarian purpose bringing greater vision and pulling us into the newer age beyond anything we can imagine. It just all feels connected and good to me.
As far as Libra not being able to let go and that more of a Scorpio trait, I highly agree, being a Libra I know just how difficult it is for me to let anything go. But this energy of the Full Moon shows me where I need to let go and then I get the added impetus from many other sources that show me just how I can do that this time and be successful at it. Easy, no, doable, yes. Am I ? About 50/50.
And let’s not forget how the cluster of planets between Pluto in early Cap and Mercury in early Taurus are focusing energy right through Saturn, almost like a garden hose-Saturn being the nozzle. Wow, there’s a book waiting to be written there!!
So, I think we will all be saying goodbye to many things now and by the end of the month moving into a future that is more real than anything we’ve known for a while. And this Full Moon is just part of that like a harbinger.
Your turn.
From Leela: Well, let me see. If I give the moon in Libra response then I would go on for paragraphs trying to give as much info as possible and with the trine to the jupiter/neptune I can see where this striving for perfection and all the illusion about the importance to my writing would get blown out of proportion, exagerated and with chiron in the middle and on the midheaven will you must have felt hurt or threatened. This wasn’t my intention. My intention was to show that the obvious often gets overlooked. Everything gets processed through the orbit of the moon. And right now, the moon is in Scorpio so the need for words seems not needed.
