Hopefully you are all keeping up with the current command to let go, filter out, open up, be free to fly! It’s moving much faster now and you can feel it after the somewhat stagnate winter. Not really stagnate, but felt that way as the really intense and very deep internals changes were working thru the muck.

I’m pasting some very good information about what is going on in your life right now and in the world. Saturn square Pluto is a tough aspect! You can see that major changes need to occur in your life but it is difficult for that to happen. R. Hand describes this, “…your ambition for your work may be frustrated. Bosses or coworkers may try to prevent you from accomplishing what you want. Financially, you will probably have to curb expenses. Sometimes the experiences of this transit is much like struggling against chains that hold you down.”
Well, the Borg’s told us that “resistance is futile” and so it is at this time. There will be many obstacles to overcome during this time because this is a time to eliminate the unnecessary in your life. Pluto rules breakdown and regeneration. If you work with this it will turn out positively, if not, quite negative. You will be a lot stronger when this transit is passed.
…….”From a practical, “real world” angle, these multiple “expansion through sacrifice” energies have triggered some very “hard adjustments” and forced some major shifts in whatever life areas they influence. Let’s take a look at just a few things that have been going on during this time of interlocking Yods.
First, the Vancouver Olympics with their equipment malfunctions, weather issues, ticket cancellations, and safety problems. They began with the death of Georgian luger Nodar Kumaritashvili last Friday, forcing a rearranging of the luge course to slow things down. Then the games began with one of the columns of the Olympic flame not rising as it should.
The weather has totally messed up the Alpine schedule, wiping out the first two races on the opening weekend of the games as well as a bunch of training runs necessary in order to hold actual races. This is because Cypress Mountain, site of freestyle skiing and snowboarding, has not had enough snow.
Organizers covered the course with hay bales and dumped snow on top, but heavy rains washed much of it away. Organizers then canceled tickets for all snowboard events — men’s and women’s snowboard cross, halfpipe and parallel giant slaloms. That’s six events with no spectators lining the course, a total of 28,000 tickets requiring refunds of $1.5 million.
The reason? The snow washed away to the point where people were sinking up to their knees, and in some case even deeper, putting many spectators in very unsafe conditions.
Fans can’t get into events for which they bought tickets, and can’t even see the Olympic cauldron since it’s a restricted area, creating mass discontent. Athletes are competing in less than stellar conditions — Tuesday’s snowboard cross competition was a fall-riddled nightmare, and the speedskaters were less than pleased to be kept waiting to compete Monday night because of a malfunctioning ice-resurfacing machine. Or, like the Alpine skiers, they aren’t competing at all, or even getting in training runs.
I couldn’t help but note while viewing the couples figure skating competitions that I’ve never seen so many falls in any Olympics I’ve ever viewed. The judges were actually awarding high marks even when one or both skaters fell in any number of ways. I believe it’s because skaters are always pushing to exceed the old standards, and some jumps they’re attempting are almost impossible anyway. It’s easy to see how some adjustments might be in order just to keep from falling on their bums. The judges sure had to adjust their standards relative to past Olympics!
Besides the Olympic mess, there have been other major events going on as well. There is the seemingly never-ending stream of bad news for Toyota, with multiple brand recalls for a fairly large spectrum of problems. We’ve also seen many announcements of retirements from the US Congress including an unexpected death due to complications from surgery. (Update: There are 45 so far, one of the largest waves of retirements in history!)
The Taliban’s number 2 guy has been captured along with several Taliban “Shadow Governors,” the Ukranian election results have been suspended amid allegations of fraud, and in a very bizarre turn, an Alabama college professor went berserk and killed several colleagues. Upon further investigation, it has been found she killed her brother years ago in very peculiar circumstances, and was even a suspect in a bomb plot at another university a while back!
I’m sure there are more events that are indicative of Saturn square Pluto with multiple interlocking quincunx energies, but these are the ones that have happened so far that I know of. Oh yes, and one of my favorite poets died, Lucille Clifton.
It would seem that the times are truly a wild ride, with more to come once Mars goes direct!”

As we move, somewhat sluggishly, into 2010 there is a felt quickening in the air (Pluto in Capricorn) and soon the rapid fire changes (Uranus in Aries) that we have so impatiently been stamping our foot at, will be here.
Last minute checks to see if you have clearly stated what you want from this year (Mars retrograde). Be thorough, look at every part of your life. Do you want a garden? Perhaps rescue a shelter animal? Do you need to change your career? Do you need to move, or take a vacation? Want different friends?
Surfing on the winds of change (Uranus) will help you now, don’t bury your head………breathe, expand, open to your greater potential and the even greater reality that we are all birthing here. A reality of equality, acceptance of all, tolerance and the abolition of fear. A reality that supports everyone in all of their uniqueness and creativity.
This is the time of planning and re-planning (Saturn & Mars Rx) till we burst through to Spring’s great activity (Mars goes direct on 3/10), you can smell it in the air. This is an exciting time, believe in yourself and break on through to the other side……….

Not so much really, and I think everyone is starting to get that. Fortunately we still have some freedom of speech in this country and many who are evolving rapidly in the spiritual realms are helping to spread the word. Wake up. Step up. Move up…………it’s time to leave the negativity of your life behind and get healed.
Sometimes that healing doesn’t look like it, it can look like illness and anger and sorrow, but you are just cleansing in order to be in a higher state and closer to God/Light.

We’ve now made it through the first opposition, with Sun opposition Mars still occurring between now and Friday’s Full Moon. This is the eye of the storm, with heart strength and a greater sense of higher purpose the rewards for those who persevere.

Figure out what needs to be done to keep things moving forward, and be deliberate in continuing to “gather your medicine” so that your heart is strengthened in association with others who share that magnetic solar fire. The momentum is about to quicken in our affairs, though there will be adjustments and sacrifices in the very near future.

Keep your eye on the prize despite momentary interruptions and deflecting distractions during this time of slowest momentum. Fit things into a long range perspective while beginning to do what must be done to renew and/or complete what was started Autumn 2009.

Been a bit down and wondering what to do next….so, of course found this piece by Robert and can see a little bit better. Might need more patience, I don’t know, these are some odd energies we are all in. You may be experiencing it in really good ways, but many are stuck in the letting go process I’ve noticed.

Feels like one of the old Boilers at school. When it would kick in it would rumble your insides. That’s the kind of vibration this Mars retrograde has.
Another feel is waiting for something to happen, grrrrrrr. I’m an action person, with a cardinal sun and ascendant I like to move forward first, take care of business and move on.
Sigh, not a lot of moving on these days. I have to work really hard at getting anything done. It would be a better use of this energy to lay plans for the spring forward boost into action.

This Mars is sitting on my Pluto/Mars/Saturn conjunction in the 7th house.  Personal relationships are just “sitting” there also.  Not getting better, not getting worse and certainly under scrutiny.  What do I want with these relationships anyway?  That’s what this is good for…………..what do I want you to be in my life?  Do I even want you in my life?

I feel a call for solitary hermitude (if that isn’t a word it should be!)  After March 10th, watch for the hermit to be gone!

Much is changing in work, relationships, our country, our world.  I can’t see a bit further than the next bloke.  Just trying not to suffer too much with it all and working on letting go.

This fits in nicely with the Stars at this time, they too are asking for change, letting go and trusting the process.  I am reminded of a saying about leaping off the cliff and knowing that you will either sprout wings and fly or there will be a soft landing.

Even though Mercury has gone direct we are still experiencing a backlash of energy that started during that time. It’s just plain odd out there.
It’s not a comfortable energy and you can’t especially count on anything.
I’m just looking out to see what is going to happen next.
Still hassling with email lists that I can’t send out, no printer at work and a sense of being in a bubble.
As I peruse through many astrologers sites I hear much the same.
Of course Mars is still retrograde till Spring and so is Saturn, I will be ready for intense forward movement after all this downtime!

If you have been feeling a little intense these days, welcome to 2010 and the ongoing rapid-fire evolution of humanity! Near as I can tell, no one is being left unscathed with this.
Just a heads up, as Mercury goes direct in a couple of days, you still might want to hold off on buying electronics for 5 days or so, same with signing contracts. An added dose of mega energy that is going to be slamming a few doors in people’s lives, is the New Moon/Solar Eclipse in Capricorn on the 15th. My Ascendant is in Capricorn and it is affecting me in some pretty strong ways. Look to your chart to see where this Eclipse will be zinging you as it is so much better to work with these energies than try to swim cross current in a wildly cavorting/changing Universe.
Or better yet, get your transit chart done….it’s a new year, get some help on how to navigate, it makes it so much easier.

2009 is almost finished and I believe I speak for many when I say, it cannot go soon enough. Yes, there were some amazingly wonderful things that happened, but for the most part it was just plain hard in almost every area.
The New Years Eve is a Blue Moon (that is a 2nd full moon in a month-not usual) and also a Lunar Eclipse. Eclipses show us what is ending or will end soon.
We will feel the effects for several months for sure. And since Mars (power/strength) and Mercury (communications) are both retrograde, everything will slow down in those areas while we all have time to re-think and re-configure what we really want.
For all signs, this Eclipse will affect you:
ARIES-Home is highlighted, you need to be nurtured more, take a break.
TAURUS-Think kinder thoughts and you will receive that back. Slow it way down.
GEMINI-Start pulling up some old talents and see if they need to be in your life again.
CANCER-Time to re-invent your body/personality, join the gym and go out!
LEO-You may want to hang with your pride, but better to be off in a cave meditating.
VIRGO-Social friendships don’t really give you what you need-true friends do.
LIBRA-Career could use some re-thinking before the dam breaks in a few months.
SCORPIO-Foreign travel might be calling, but better wait til spring.

Just some brief info on what we will all be experiencing for the time period of December 26 through January 15.
Mercury retrograde in the sign of Capricorn…….It is helpful to know that Mercury is the Winged Messenger which has to do with communications, thinking, how we access information, make decisions, and just basically how we view our reality.
Capricorn asks us to take a look at our role in this life and see if it serves our higher destiny and the world…..how are your foundations?…………Where could your boundaries be “shored up”?…………This is a test and you will be graded.
During this time period we will be given the opportunity to re-think and re-work how we “make it” in the world and if we have chosen the “right” path for our destiny this time around.
Look for many people that have been in jobs 20+ years to either be downsized (even more than has been going on) or to suddenly leave on a quest to find happiness elsewhere. We are all being pulled along in this evolutionary tug of war, or better yet, The Force, to be of service to ourselves and to humanity. Now is the time of the Great Surrender of Ego.
You will be pondering what exactly is your purpose and where is your power and where are you going.

I love Sagittarius’ philosophic outlook and expansive generosity and wisdom. I’m not too crazy about it’s tendency to go into denial about what is blatantly in front of it, oh well…………..time for all forms of growth……….This is the New Moon, so plant your seeds for some dreams you have let go of lately. Sagittarius loves a quest for some form of truth and understanding. Compassion for others is a lot easier at this time.

……..may be a little more difficult this December due to some hard aspects from our solar system. Whenever Mars (power/force), Pluto (deep power/transformation) and Saturn (responsibilities/foundations) team up we are all in for some hefty lessons in changing and letting go. And to top it all off we get a Mercury (messages/thoughts) retrograde (slow it down) December 25 till January 16.
We all have our own issues to heal/resolve/release and so does our city, country, world. This month is a good time to sit down with pen and paper and start identifying the things that really hold you back whether that is a person, a house, a car, your work, etc. Look realistically at any of these and see if there is a way to heal them. Brainstorm with yourself, call in your higher guides and angel and have a little spiritual roundtable of how best to move forward and expand in these very constrictive energies.
One of the most important things you can do for yourself this month is to take a deep breath before you speak, take the high road when it comes to judging others and keep your nose out of other people’s business unless asked.
You will be facing your “walls” this month and they need to be coming down with your help or not.
So, be compassionate and look around, many are having a very stressful time of it. As a great astrologer says, “….among other things, it’s a clash between the force of time and evolution and the force of inevitable change. Still working out the glitches in re-creating this to an astrology site. So, in the mean time, will post astro tidbits and my own musings.
There is an odd, slightly hard edge feel in the air at this time, despite the recent holiday. Uranus has been adding it’s peculiar nervous high energy that created rapid communications during the T-Dinner and lovely Neptune/Venus kept the whole thing at a loving/idealistic familial bonding. Nice Thanksgiving.
But the aftermath is usually a “food-hangover” period of adjustment with lots of sleeping and laying around. Though today seems like another party mood, tomorrow we will probably all want to sleep in and just relax.
Thoughout the pleasantries, food and merriment there was a current of world events moving at breakneck speed and who knows where that will manifest next.
Last night I watched a piece on C-Span about the history of the White House. Amazing! As I watched the very beginning of that symbol of our countries independence, I was struck by the evolution of our species through time in so many different flavors.  And I still find it hard not to believe in the patriotism and the goodness of it all.  So, maybe what I connected with last night was the inherent beauty and strength of our human spirit as it evolves towards freedom for all.  That’s what it felt like and now wish I could speed up time to the days that will bring the future community-one for all and all for one with no one left behind/hungry etc.

Bring out your wish list and look at it with deeper eyes. The planting of seeds that later blossom into our hearts desires is what a New Moon is about! This particular one is quite profound as Scorpio likes it that way. Dig deep, find your treasures and bring them up for all to see.

Mars is kicking up his heels through next June and you may want to see how that is going to hinder or help all of your plans in the months to come.

Mars is strong, aggressive and a vital life force that helps you make the changes you desire in your life. When this turns to negativity it can be violent, harsh, mean spirited and hurtful.

People with favorable aspects during this time will be helped in a dynamic way to achieve their goals. Many special gifts and favorable circumstance will plop down in front of you at times.

And while it can be a little hard and fast which can create friction, there is GREAT ENERGY to get things done!!!!!

During some of that time we also have an opposition to the Sun. It will be important to take the high road and be virtuous in all you do. Lend a helping hand, be friendly to all (and mean it), be kind and gentle, be as generous as you can be and above all, remember to stay in the moment, stay grounded and love others as you find deeper ways to love yourself and your life.

Well, I guess it happens quite a bit, but I was quite shocked to log onto my beautiful new Astrology website and find that it is now gone and a hacker had inserted a new page.
Fortunately, a friend was able to put the old Blog back up.
I’ve lost all entries since the first of September, but at least I am back here.

We have made so many adjustments and moved through so many changes, where do we go from here?
At this point our view of the past has lost a lot of its grip. The future continues to beckon with uncertainty. I remember in Lord of the Rings, Galadriel telling Frodo, “Stray but a little and all will be lost.” It does feel like that. But staying the course, which means, true to self, right action, right thinking and all that we know, has become a little harder and yet easier at the same time. An odd conundrum of contradictions.
What used to work was right, is it wrong now because it doesn’t work anymore? And what does that say about truth? It does indeed have the feel of standing on the threshold looking into a new world and not knowing if we should walk through that door yet. Timing is so important.
Following the transiting planets can explain a lot and show which forces are strongest in our charts for change and how to flow thru some of that. Pluto (power and transformation) is transiting my 12th House of Mysticism/Karma/Institutions. I am, and will be experiencing the clearing out of old psychic garbage for the complete rebuilding of the self that is coming. I can tell you that some days I feel the power of that in positive ways and others in very fear based negative ways. It will be in this house till January 2021, so plenty of time to release old negative patterns of thought etc.

Well, the third eclipse this time in Aquarius is packing quite a whollop. I was reading several long but very informative articles by noted astrologer Robert Wilkinson and thought I’d pull some of the basic info out and share it with all of you.

1) First of all, eclipses shut down what needs to be shut down so that newer life can come in. For many there will be an end to some part of their heritage you no longer need as well as things from their past that were once parts of their daily lives.
2) It will be hard on those who have boundary issues or addictions.
3) For all their will be quicker realizations about who and what you are guided by Soul
4) Some will choose to grow through suffering.
5) For others, it will be like stepping into their power and their form of world service.
6) Overall, the next 3 months should be pretty good.
7) We are all changing in dynamic and dramatic ways and our deep inner wisdom is bubbling up and out to bring success.
Those with Fire and Air signs will profit greatly (Aries/Leo/Sagittarius and Gemini/Libra/Aquarius)
9) We are being purified so that we can better express our Soul without the contamination of our past, this will include our families.

Some very interesting information for every sign.
We have a 3rd eclipse in 34 days and we won’t see anything like this again in many, many moons.

At the top of one of my favorite astrology sites is this quote:
“Using Astrology, Spirit, and Archetypes to move and groove through the intersections of fate and free will.”
I think that really sums it up for my feelings about astrology and the consultations that I do. Moving and grooving through the intersections of fate and free will! I feel almost giddy that this is a path I get to walk. My enthusiasm for astrology knows no bounds and because of that many people are calling for information on what is going on in their lives.
I feel lifted up and moved and rushed brilliantly forward in a mass of destiny energy.
Here are a few tidbits about the coming days:
In August you will be challenged to get clear about any roles you are playing i.e., Mother/Father, Computer Analyst, Musician, Thief etc. You will be challenged to really think about your life and the direction it is taking you. It is very high energy and you may best be able to tap into that by a meditative practice of opening yourself up to the Divine flow of light/information that is coming in now. Your imagination can take off but do be careful of wild speculations that may not pan out. Much of what we are all learning and dreaming about will manifest in December.
As July is now done, we look into August and are challenged to purify all of our relations and what we value. Any desires, old pains, frustrations, sorrows that we have buried in our psyches will come up this month for review and healing.

Aries – Your foundations will be reorganized to make them more nurturing, and you’ll be moving through many endings and closures. Members of your family, literal or metaphoric, will leave. You can get more in touch with your ancestry in the future and interpret early life experiences differently. Keep growing professionally and use friendly competition at work to reap power at the end of a life era.

Taurus – You’re going to develop a new sensitivity in how you interpret your perceptions. Someone as close as a brother or sister will leave your life. Adaptability, curiosity, and stable self expression will be high the next 3+ years. Professional growth and group work may yield a new home or you could find something of timeless worth the public needs that gives them a more secure basis of being.

Gemini – You’re going to realize you want, need, and care about much different things than you used to. Many old values and attitudes from childhood will end. While hard choices confront you about relationships, you can find timeless wisdom by letting go of the need to dominate that led to hard angles between you and others in the past. Re-think scattered elements of your philosophy and find art.

Cancer – You will no longer feel the way you do about your self-image physically, emotionally, mentally, or spiritually. Find elements from your past that can nurture what you truly care about, let go of being too dramatic, and get a larger vision of what is desirable. Reorient your view to get a new attitude toward your friends, goals, and ambitions. Detachment and idealism brings new relationships.

Leo – Old sorrows and views of your life story, family, or cultural history will end, as will a relationship with someone like a sibling. Your meditations will become a lot more sensitive, deep, and nurturing. Old motives will end while you open to newer, larger visions of more ideal ways to work or be of service. This closes a major public life chapter where you take the best of the past into the future.

Virgo – This will bring an end to old friendships and ambitions, bringing new ways of relating to different people than you’ve ever known before. You’ll be taking life more seriously while valuing new forms of self expression and creativity. Become more sensitive to larger goals and find friends who care for and nurture you according to your current needs. Break free of limiting rules.

Libra – This will bring an end to an old public reputation or professional standing. You’ll be under pressure the next 3+ years to take responsibility to end needless worry or health problems and accept a more mature role or learning discipline. Open to a broader creativity with friends in a group work while curbing old desires that are a grind. Necessary truths coming about home, family, and self-expression.

Scorpio – Old truths and futures end as new ones that nurture you open up. Travel and education will be important factors as you master new forms of going with the flow. Be noble and gentle as you take the lead professionally, interpersonally, anchoring a new freedom and healing in your home environment. Cultivating faith in doing what is simple and natural as you follow through is the best effort.

Sagittarius – You will leave behind old needs and desires rooted in early life or a past life. You’ll remember what you’ve shared with others that made you feel connected and close to them. Many will renovate their home. Reorientations and moves likely, as are changes in professional status. Loss will create gain. Be clear about needs to know what to eliminate, creating space to attract what fulfills.

Capricorn – You’re growing into seeing a much bigger picture of how to use what you have or value. Old partnerships and other equal relationships will end so that new ones can come where you’re admiring or emulating each other rather than pushing and pulling. Open to greater truths, higher education, or travel. This prepares you for higher responsibilities or visibility over the next 3 years.

Aquarius – As you embark on your renewed 12 year adventure and learn to manage some intense energies, remember to take care of your health. Old types of work will end, as will old truths and distant associations. Necessary truths about family, home, and past living situations will come from challenges to end ghosts from the past. This will eliminate all that keeps you from regenerative adjustments.

Pisces – As you continue to move through fogs of wondering what unexpected thing will happen next, examine emergent powers to weave a larger understanding. Pleasures, children, or creative forms will end to open you to what you’ve really cared about but may not have expressed before now. You’re in a major healing phase. Let go of lesser things, cooperate with partners, and deliver spiritual power.

We have a pretty strong New Moon/Solar Eclipse in Cancer on the 21st and it is especially important as it is the 2nd New Moon in Cancer in a month.

Simone Butler states: “”A Daughter of the American Revolution” is an appropriate image for a New Moon eclipse in Cancer, sign of tradition and old familial structures. The final degree of a sign is a “last gasp” of that energy, a death knell for the old ways. Eclipses represent a profound shift in direction; a total eclipse of the Sun (masculine) by the Moon (feminine) symbolically indicates that outdated, patriarchal structures are falling away, to be replaced by more intuitive ways of being. The life-giving flow of motherly love is nourishing the hearts of both women and men, if we only open ourselves to it.”

Wherever this eclipse falls in your chart tells you something about what is ending in your life. Something is about to end in a very significant way. For instance, if this eclipse is close to your Venus, you will know that something you value and enjoy, or an old relationships is about to end. You can also see that happening in the houses ruled by Libra or Taurus in your chart, it will be different for everyone.

For instance, the Moon is just leaving my house of Work, health, other people’s health and service and during the eclipse has moved into my relationship house. Many new paths have been opening before me in this area, many miracles occurring for me right now. I expect this eclipse to further all that was set in motion by June’s New Moon in Cancer.

Wilkinson says, If this eclipse is close to your Moon, an old habit may now fall away. If Mars, a quarrel will end, or start. If Saturn is conjuncted by the eclipse, it can mean the passing of an older person or one with power in your life.

Lots of themes for us all. We will be affected by this eclipse for years to come.
