Pluto Dancing Through Your Chart-Happy New Year!!

Happiest of New Years – 2007

This is a big one with Pluto digging deep into your subconscious for healing.

I’ve been moving through my own Pluto depth dwelling of late, some of it absolutely lovely. Transformation doesn’t have to mean all those negative words we usually attach it like depression, sadness, anger, bitter etc. Transformation can also mean that the existing love all around you has finally opened your eyes to the beauty of your life.

Allison Rea expounds on the Plutonioan energies you should all be aware of at this time. I’ve pasted two of her very enlightening articles below. If you don’t have a therapist, better find one soon.

Because of the huge transformational energies at this time individually and globally I’m offering Pluto readings for the year of 2007. Become aware of how to work these energies as Pluto moves and interacts with other faster moving plantets and just what that means for you.

Pluto and the Galactic Center, 2006-2007

I am rebirth
Let me dance you to death
Let me dance you to life
Will you walk through your fears to dance with me?

- The Goddess Kali

The transformation of consciousness on planet Earth is taking a quantum leap. As we stand at the threshold of this cosmic opportunity, we have a simple choice – to be guided and empowered by love, or to allow fear to squelch our divine, creative potential.

Pluto’s alignment with the Galactic Center in 2006-2007 will have profound effects on our individual and collective consciousness, on institutions, governments, corporations, the structure of our communities and nations, and on our beautiful planet.

This period of accelerated growth won’t be comfortable. It will be challenging, exhilarating and rewarding.

Earth changes will accelerate in a natural process of purification. Many souls will awaken during this time. Many souls will depart the Earth plane.

Whatever our path, each of us will embark on a journey of discovery through the depths of the subconscious, re-emerging to begin anew at a higher level of consciousness. We will be called to serve in news ways, at a higher level.

Pluto brings us many messages and meanings.

Pluto, the Galactic Center and Enlightenment

“This era exceeds, for physical, symbolic and enlightenment purposes, the significance of the expiration of the Mayan Calendar.”

- Philip Sedgwick

In 2006 and 2007, Pluto will align with the Galactic Center three times, ushering in an unprecedented period of cosmic awareness and healing. This passage will also be marked by chaos and turmoil.

Pluto’s conjunction with the Galactic Center occurs only once every 248 years. While some astrologers report Pluto as conjunct the exact center of our galaxy earlier in the year, the alignments are actually in late December 2006 and again in July and October of 2007.

Because of Pluto’s proximity to the degree of the Galactic Center (26’55″ Sagittarius) throughout 2006, we will feel the effects all year.

How each of us experiences this transit will depend on our consciousness.

Pluto is the spiritual plunger of the solar system, forcing us to face issues submerged in the unconscious that hold us back from our highest expression of divinity. The Galactic Center is a black hole around which our Sun and other planetary systems revolve.

The nature of black holes, and Pluto, is annihilation.

Pluto’s passage over the Galactic Center will accelerate the natural process the Hopi refer to as the Great Purification. As a transpersonal planet, Pluto influences the collective consciousness as well as the individual. Watch for political upheaval, revolution and chaos, as well as Earth changes that restore balance to human systems and the natural world.

In December 2005, we’re put on notice. This is the time for Lightworkers to heal spiritual, mental, emotional and physical imbalances in preparation for the changes to come in 2006 and beyond.

A crescendo of emotional release and fulfillment culminates in the Gemini Full Moon on December 15. Between now and then, our priority is to acknowledge and release patterns from our past that will not be carried into the new cycle.

Key issues for Lightworkers during this phase include:

- Self-esteem not cultivated in childhood must be nurtured now in order to achieve greater expressions of creativity and leadership.

- Ego imbalances will be corrected. As you recognize and heal issues of low self-esteem and create a unique, individuated identity, check in often to be sure you’re operating from essence, not ego.

- Patterns of codependency must be released. Healing codependent patterns requires periods of solitude to develop right relationship with self and Source, which eventually leads to healthy relationships with others.

- Addictions of all kinds – to substances, relationships, activities, even feelings – are obstacles to soul growth and need to be released.

- Recognize and rewrite thoughts and beliefs that hinder your experience of yourself as Infinite Divine Light.

- Heal the illusion of separation that stems from “original separation” when your soul individuated and descended from Source to experience growth through human experience.

On the path of healing these karmic issues, we encounter many forms of resistance. Emotional outbursts, rage, hysteria, anxiety, depression, illness, accidents, body aches, digestive problems, allergies, acute pain and injuries, chemical and other dependencies are some of the experiences we create as we begin to break away from past patterns.

As we grow in awareness, we begin to welcome these challenges as confirmation that we’re making progress!

Meanwhile, strategies that will help you through the changes include…

- Daily meditation. Twice a day, at least 15 minutes each time, will help you ground, center, reconnect with Source, and integrate the changes on all levels.

- Develop a support network with others on the path of mastery. Release non-supportive relationships that attempt to hold you in past patterns.

- Set clear intentions and express them in ceremony, prayer, poem, dance, song and/or art.

- Explore transformational healing tools including energy and bodywork, essential oils, flower essences and sacred sound.

Many astrologers have been writing and speaking about Pluto’s alignment with the Galactic Center in 2006-2007. Some presentations are fear-based, some hopeful. While the effects of these conjunctions will be dramatic and far-reaching, they’ll serve to strengthen and unify us as the shift to higher consciousness intensifies.

We’ll explore various aspects of this important passage throughout the coming year in the Alignments Newsletter.

After the Day

The day after Christmas and I’m still all wrapped up in warm fuzzies.  It really was a good one this year.

The food is a very big deal to me.  The mixing of flavours, textures, colors, and of course china, crystal and silver.  Couldn’t have been better this time.

And the family has grown, there are more of us now and that is so lovely after years of sorrow for the really important ones who were gone.  Children just make it better and this year the three grandsons (13, 6, 18 mos) delighted us all with their funny antics and boundless joy.

I’ve struggled with the family dynamics and endeavored to create an atmosphere of loving acceptance no matter what.  This Christmas that was achieved to a much higher degree.

Throughout the week of festivities which included luncheons, shopping, dinners, gatherings and so on I was filled with the presence of time.  Or maybe the importance of holiday time and gatherings to our human spirit.  Without making an effort we can easily slide into solitude and remorse, but with just a little effort we can go out and include people/family into our lives to achieve a more expansive sense of peace and connectedness.

What a gift these gatherings can be.

Winter Solstice

The winter solstice is the astrologer’s new year. The sun is at its weakest and most distant point, then stops on the solstice for a few hours before it begins to return its light to us.   This is a time to stop, be still and reflective about the past year and the coming one.  Pull yourself into your center and see how your past can open up your future.

2007 looks like it will be a good year. There will be a lot of hope and idealism generated by Jupiter advancing up to meet Pluto in Sagittarius. Any year when Jupiter is in Sagittarius is a lucky one, full of opportunities for travel, education, and spiritual enhancement. Mars and Uranus are at a perfect 90-degree angle to each other, indicating sudden and unexpected revolutions, explosions, and eruptions. Take an extra minute or two to check your safety when dealing with anything dangerous.

It will be a good year for the arts. It’s the year to produce and show your work. It’s more about the creativity than the money. Relationships will go along well until it’s time for a commitment, because no one will want to feel fenced in. You’ll find a conflict between thoughts of being free and roaming the world by yourself and the comfort and security of staying home with your love.

Thursday, Dec 21 Moon in Capricorn. The sun enters Capricorn at 7:23 pm marking the moment of the winter solstice. Mars challenges Uranus; this may provoke some religious or rebellious conflict. You need to be very careful when handling anything electrical or flammable. There’s a high potential for accidents. It’s a good day to break a habit.

Friday, Dec 22 Moon Capricorn (vc), enters Aquarius 4:49 pm. The void of course moon makes it hard to stay focused. Finish up the important things that need to be tied up and start your holiday weekend early if you can. Think of Dickens’s Christmas Carol and make a few more donations.

Saturday, Dec. 23 Moon in Aquarius. You can finish up your holiday preparations with detachment. It’s a day to see the bigger picture and not get upset by little things going wrong. Do your last-minute shopping for computer games and equipment, electronic items, science fiction novels, and anything unconventional.

Sunday, Dec 24 Moon in Aquarius, VC from 3:09 pm until 8:43 pm when it enters Pisces. Get all your work done so you can enjoy this evening when you’ll feel the spirit of the holiday come back into your heart. It will be a sentimental time: be sure to share the sentiments and warm feelings with others.

Monday, Dec. 25 Moon in Pisces. Merry Christmas. As you enjoy all your bounty and the love of your family, remember those who have little or nothing today. Give generously to a charity, or charities, that help feed and clothe those in need. Remember that words can hurt and know that people feel vulnerable today, so be kind with your words. Meditate if you have time alone. Pray for peace.

Tuesday, Dec 26 Moon in Pisces. Drift through the day. Throw away the agenda and schedule and let your feelings lead you. Visit those who are shut in or ill. Call the relatives and friends you need to forgive. Make peace in your life. Try to absorb enough holiday spirit to stay with you the whole year.

Wednesday, Dec. 27 Moon in Aries. Now you can pick yourself up and you’re on your way. If you don’t have to go back to work today, use the day to start a project. It’s good energy to initiate one of your special ideas. Mercury enters Capricorn, which will help you communicate in a professional, pragmatic manner. Think of the deals you want to carry out, be ambitious in your thinking.

Thursday, Dec 28 Moon in Aries, VC 9:54 pm. Be bold and put yourself and your ideas in the foreground. Do what’s best for you today. Watch your temper. You won’t have much patience for another person’s slower pace. Protect your head when you need to; be sure to wear that helmet. Do some serious thinking on how to heal your woes. Thoughts have great power today.

New Moon in Capricorn/Winter Solstice

The New Moon is a time of beginnings, a time to plant seeds for what you want to grow. Ceremonies are always good at this time. Getting together with friends and sharing dreams, laying old hurts to rest, a time of healing.

With so many planets in Fiery/expansive/abundant Sagittarius, this could be a sacred turning point in your lives. Take chances, take risks and do something you haven’t done before.

Be encouraged now; pick something to renew your spirit. Find something to be grateful about. Write down 5 things you want quickly and expand them even bigger…….perhaps a salary-add 3 zeroes to it!!

Forgiveness will be much easier this month, so forgive not only those people and things that irritate or have harmed you, but also yourself, in the many ways you feel you have let yourself down.

Now is the time to lay it to rest and begin anew!!

Love and Truth Everlasting

Each day I begin anew to understand the Law of Attraction.  I have reached the point where I accept everything I have put into this life.  And sometimes it makes me very curious why I attracted certain things.  But I don’t have to go very far to find the reason.

I am filled with the truth of my own reality today and it is so liberating.  Not what I thought any of this would be.

The choices of my Will, my free Will, are lying in front of me and I am filled with love and compassion for the path I have traveled this life.

And that makes me very excited; full of the optimism of choice, my own choices.

I am beginning to see what I want in my life and it is manifesting.

Love and Truth everlasting, the wisdom of the Soul.

Societal Structures

I sometimes ponder on phrases like, no one is an island and wonder about the advantages and disadvantages of reclusive and community living.  I like to do as I choose.  Living reclusively and coming out when I want to be engaged with others.

Our social structure seems also to be like that.  People living insular lives, wrapped up in their own musings and family/friend dramas and trusting that the supposedly “well-oiled machine” of our local and national government is honest and doing its job.

Of course, we know better by the huge scandals all around us.  And still, we bury our heads in our own little lives.  I was reading Marianne Williamson’s book, “The Healing Of America”, and was transported back to a time in our nation when we were all involved in what was happening.

“In early America, people discussed politics in the taverns, the early equivalent of today’s longshoreman was as well informed about political issues as was the colonial equivalent of today’s business mogul.

Democracy means that all of us must become engaged in the big picture of society’s affairs.

The price you pay for not thinking about something important in your life is that there will always be someone else eager to do your thinking for you.”

-Marianne Williamson

Well Being

Well-being is the only order of the day, unless you are doing something to pinch it off. So, little by little, more and more, people begin to feel comfortable with their own thoughts; especially, understanding that thoughts don’t have instant manifestational power, anyway. You live in this time/space reality where there is a buffer zone between the offering of a thought and the receiving of the manifestation. So it gives you a lot of opportunity to amend and add to.                                         -Abraham

I wondered why I wasn’t receiving some of those things a little more quickly.  Isn’t it nice to know that with the power of manifestation comes a little buffer zone so that we get to be sure this is what we really want by consistent thinking.  Sort of saves the day!

What Do I Want?

I feel as if I’ve gotten bigger or something, it’s hard to describe…..there is just more of me now.  I don’t know where I was before, but more of it is here now.

And I find myself pondering on what it is exactly that I want for and in my life.  I have been thinking and working on that pretty intensely for a couple of years so it feels much closer.

I’m looking into an amazing sunrise coming up through old Oaks and feeling bigger than the life I have created.  There is the feeling of excitement and potential and I don’t know what to do with it.

Soon, I’ll be pulled into the daily rituals, breakfast, shower, and so on.  Mind numbing rituals designed, I think to keep me from thinking or being in the moment.

And there it is………fear of (fill in the blank)………what would I do with unlimited potential?  How could I handle that much power?  Who and what would I be?

I’m turning it over to a higher power than my small self.

This Day Will Not Come Again

Thomas Merton wrote that quote after a particularly meaningful meditation on the Earth. How profound it can be when you filter your moments through a statement like that. This day will not come again. In every encounter through this day it will not happen again. There is no rerun, this is it.
Makes me want to run out quickly and grasp each moment, each person as if I would never see it again, and I won’t, not this exact way. I feel the richness of life, of each moment.
How precious it all becomes, how I wish I could see and be in those ordinary moments with all my family and friends who are no longer here. It would be easy to have regrets but that would pull me out of this once in a life time moment.
Right now I am full of the sights and sensations all around me as I sit here typing on this keyboard and gazing into the screen, reaching out to connect with all of you. We will not have this connection ever again in the same way.

I am alive with feeling and energy as I extend myself out through these words. Each one of you, so precious to me as part of the earthly family we exist in.

Many times we have heard to be in the moment, to seek God in the details of life, so often we just let them be words.

This day will not come again.

I’ve taught meditation classes since 1979 and this is one of the best descriptions of why I not only teach, but practice it.
“That’s why so many of us teach meditation. Because when you stop thought, you stop resistant thought. When you stop resistant thought, then you let it in. That’s why we teach appreciation, because when you’re in appreciation, you are not in the mode of resistance, and you are letting it in.” -Abraham

The Calm

Now it is calm. I love how that feels, that place of contentment. I can feel it flowing out from me in all directions like a liquid silk.

It comes because the past week has been in overdrive with activities of family parties and more, it is the holiday season once again.

I find the connections that we make at this time of the year are very fulfilling to me. I understand why we have gathered during winter to celebrate, reconnect and encourage each other for the long season ahead probably since the beginning of human time.

It places me in the moment of activity as there is much cleaning, cooking, planning and so on. It also has great momentum with anticipation of laughter, great food and that special feeling of love that friends and family can bring to you sometimes.

And then resting in the calm afterwards, not gearing up for the next event just yet, but calm, content and satisfied feelings.

The greater the distance between what you are and what you want to be, the greater is your tension.  Tension is that which lies between being and becoming.  The state of being is acepting what you are, and the state of becoming is desiring to be what you are not.

The greater your sense of inferiority, the greater is your desire to become what you are not.  The greater your acceptance, the greater is your capactiy to be fully what you are.

The spiritual journey begins with self-acceptance.

Pain exists only is resistance.  Joy exists only in acceptance.

Painful situations which you accept heartily become joyful.  Joyful situations which you do not accept become painful.

There is no such thing as a bad experience.  Bad experiences are simply the creations of your inner resistance to what is.

All is Well

“All is well. You did not come here to fix a broken world. The world is not broken. You came here to live a wonderful life. And if you can learn to relax a little and let it all in, you will begin to see the universe present you with all that you have asked for.” – Abraham

The Boulder on the Road

In ancient times, a king had a boulder placed on a roadway. Then he hid himself and watched to see if anyone would remove the huge rock. Some of the king’s wealthiest merchants and courtiers came by and simply walked around it. Many loudly blamed the king for not keeping the roads clear, but none did anything about getting the big stone out of the way. Then a peasant came along carrying a load of vegetables. On approaching the boulder, the peasant laid down his burden and tried to move the stone to the side of the road. After much pushing and straining, he finally succeeded. As the peasant picked up his load of vegetables, he noticed a purse lying in the road where the boulder had been. The purse contained many gold coins and a note from the king indicating that the gold was for the person who removed the boulder from the roadway. The peasant learned what many others never understand. Every obstacle presents an opportunity to improve one’s condition.
