Time for some insight into your unique astrological cycles. How will the powerful energies of this eclipse rock your world, what areas are calling forth to be healed?
This Saturday is the Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse in Virgo. Eclipses accelerate change. And this one wants you to eliminate the old patterns that are “stuck” in your life.
A mini-look into the patterns of change calling to you now……….work with it and it is so much easier, resist and it is just so much harder. The choices that you make now will move into the next many months of your life.
Let’s make it easier!
Send me your birth time, date and place
I will email you a report back on how best to work with these changes as we get ready for the Solar Eclipse on the 18th and the Spring Equinox. It’s a very powerful Spring.
“First, a lunar eclipse in Virgo opposes electric Uranus in Pisces on March 3rd and awakens us to the bigger picture, as mundane life is turned inside out in some way and our oneness with humanity is revealed. Pay close attention to any dreams or revelations that come to you around that time.
Then, on March 18 a solar eclipse in Pisces squares transformative Pluto in Sagittarius. This momentous event falls just two days before the Sun’s annual leap into pioneering Aries on March 20th. Thus, it’s a symbolic death paving the way for a fresh new beginning at the Spring Equinox. That’s a lot of potent energy to help us clear out the you-know-what and come clean. This New Moon at the tail end of the last sign of the zodiac symbolizes the release of ancient wounds. Watch the world stage for symbolic events, which often occur when a solar eclipse makes a hard angle to an outer planet. In April of 2005, for instance, when a solar eclipse squared Saturn (authority figures), the Pope’s death foreshadowed the decline of outmoded religious belief systems. Similarly, the March 18 eclipse may coincide with the downfall or death of an oppressive (Pluto) regime or individual. Something may come to an end in your own life, as well.” –Simone Butler1 comment
Don’t assume that the person comforting you lives an untroubled life. Her simple, helpful words that do you so much good have been gathered through her own life of difficulty and sorrow.
Often it has been harder for her and that is why she can help you, she has been there and back, words of comfort come from the experience of pain.No comments
The Intention Process is just about as simple as it can be. All you have to do is say I intend and then follow it up with whatever it is that you desire. It could be anything! You could intend to have a new coat for yourself or you could intend for world peace. Since there are no limits on what you can think about, there are no limits on what you can intend!
For me, I get up every morning and I intend that I am joyful and happy. I intend fun and laughter. I intend that I am in perfect health – rejuvenated, aligned, balanced, and feeling physically great all of the time. I intend that I am always guided, guarded, and protected. These are a few of the general intentions that I start with everyday and then I look around at my life to see what I am needing. If the old wheelbarrow just broke, I’d intend that I have a new one. If the computer decided to go on the fritz, I’d intend that it gets fixed. I don’t leave anything out because there’s no reason to hold back!
I like to make a few intentions each day about my personal traits. Sometimes I intend that I am a more compassionate person; or I intend that I’m more kind or gentle. And sometimes, especially when there are a lot of dramas going on all around me, I intend that I see everyone in their highest light and every event from its highest point of view. That way, I’m able to observe all of the sorrow and suffering in the world and still remain uplifted. I intend that I remember that it doesn’t do anybody any good to drop down into someone else’s challenges and become troubled or sad along with them. It’s much better to set an example by staying happy and cheerful.
After intending for things like this for awhile, I take a closer look at the world at large and make a few intentions for it too. For example, I intend that men, women, and children everywhere experience grace. And I intend that peace and harmony blossom all across the land. And I intend that this Earth is living in its highest light, and that, within our environment, the air we breathe is clean and crisp; the water everywhere is crystal clear and delicious; the soil is abundant with lush growth and beautiful fruit is dripping from the trees; the animals are honored and respected; and people all over the world are happy and smiling because they’re being given everything that they need! And, last but not least, I intend that all of my thoughts, words, and deeds serve the highest and best good of the Universe, myself, and everyone everywhere.
So be it and so it is!
It’s a foggy view today, all wrapped up in chilly snow and soft gray clouds…..a really good day to snuggle under the covers. As I look out at the day I wonder what I will make of this one? What will my thoughts manifest in such a foggy state? Today, my intention is to clarify more of what I want. To see through this foggy view and seize the prize of a golden day. There, that’s getting the juices flowing…….a little excitement over being able to create what I want…….now what do I want?
There it is! Just like the sailors of old atop the main mast……Land Ho!!!
So, from fog to clarity in seconds of time. How simple this creating a “feeling” or an “excitement” for what you can do in a day! I have a tendency to make things difficult, as if it would mean more if it were hard to attain. I’m liking the fact that I can make it easier if I choose.1 comment
How easy we can slip into that gray place! Don’t even see it coming most times. It’s time to give my sadness a voice again. It’s that “loss” piece. All the people, places and things that are no longer here.
I flipped so easily into it yesterday and even said to myself, ‘why are you going here?’ I went there because it deserves it’s time for healing.
I can often see these lost pieces as jewels now. Really beautiful jewels of my past. I can pull them out and cherish them and be grateful for these gifts. But the other side of that coin is a feeling of losing something instead of gaining. My focus today are on the jewels, but that doesn’t mean I won’t go into loss again, it needs it’s time to be healed and I honor that.1 comment
Be smart! Think about that. Be, a state of being. Smart, alert, clever, capable, using the best of the brains. Sounds like a good way to create the life you’ve been wanting all along. Be smart.1 comment
When you hold resentment toward another, you are bound to that person or condition by an emotional link that is stronger than steel.
Forgiveness is the only way to dissolve that link and get free.

“The Universe doesn’t hear your words. You ask with your desire. The desire that is born out of the contrast. That desire. That wanting. That’s what summons the Life Force.” -Abraham2 comments
Robert Wilkinson is a wonderful astrologer and this is what he has to say about tomorrow’s New Moon in Aquarius:
The New Moon in Aquarius Quintile Jupiter At A Transfiguration Point
A brief note on this very special moment in time. The Sun is now in the final 3 degrees of Aquarius, an important point in knowing how to prepare for the future, emerge from our chrysalis, transforming our everyday lives in significant ways to embrace a greater social-spiritual connectedness with our true group.
This is a very auspicious time for cutting to the chase and getting a sense of our uniqueness in forms of gifts we have to give to our world. Jupiter is on a point of rebirth, where we can come out of some form of “doubt or despair” and find a way to live our spirituality in conformity to what is natural for us.
The quintile from the Sun to Jupiter will be exact at the time of the New Moon, which means the Moon is also quintile Jupiter, affecting the following two to four weeks in very special gifted ways. Couple that with the Sun and Moon both sextile Pluto and the signals you’re getting from the deepest part of your Spiritual core should be showing you how to grow into a whole new way of life with accuracy, precision, and concentration.
Expect unique events over the next few weeks that quickly refocus you toward your greater work. The changes could be more awesome than you imagine, so open to your greatest dream, manage the transformation process, and join a greater fellowship. No comments
One of the most important assets we have is our ability to communicate. Although that isn’t treated quite as well today, in past generations speech, gestures, tone and so on were cultivated as ettiquete. It helps to smoothe over misunderstandings and to create harmonious situations. It utilizes peaceful compromise and finding options.
It is a part of our evolving nature that we raise the vibrations of all of our parts now. We communicate not only by our speech, body language, facial expressions but also by our thoughts. What are we truly thinking? Thoughts are energy and that energy goes out from you and everyone can feel it.
This is a time of rapid development/evolution. Pay a little more attention to how you are growing. Notice how it is affecting those around you. What we do for ourselves spreads out and helps or hinders others. It is time to be part of the solution.1 comment
Nothing can take the place of persistence.
Talent will not; the world is full of unsuccessful people with talent.
Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb.
Education alone will not; the world is full of educated derelicts.
Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. -Calvin Cooledge1 comment
It’s snowing and Mercury Retrograde and I’m cleaning out closets. Especially the closets in my mind. Old dark and musty beliefs that need airing out or thrown out. Why I ever installed some of those beliefs is beyond me today. So I will spend most of the day in self forgiveness statements like, I forgive myself for believing______________.
And probably doing a lot of EFT tapping on the meridians to move that stuck energy out.
That’s what a Mercury Retrograde is really good for-cleaning house! And the snow makes it even better-I have an excuse to stay home!!No comments
February 13th to March 7th we will be in a Mercury retrograde period. Good for some stuff, not for others.
I’ve put a lot of information below on how this will affect you.
It is helpful to know how Mercury will be affecting your life during this time.
Not only does Mercury go retrograde, but on the day after, Valentine’s Day Venus and Mars form a YOD (finger of God) to Saturn (stern teacher)! How this will affect your chart will be a defining moment for your love interests-better or worse.
The point is how strong are your relationship foundations? The highest energies of this YOD will be for transformation, hopefully to the highest degree of love, but the other is also possible.
I’ve put together a little mini-report on how to best use these energies and get the most out of it.
Three times a year Mercury turns backwards, so to speak. What that means for everyone is a little different.
Mercury is the Messenger, the connector. Logical and reasoning capabilities, left brain, communication etc., it bridges the gap between different concepts. When Mercury goes retrograde, the Astrologer Maria Shaw says:
- Start anything new
- Make important decisions
- Buy computers, appliances, TVs, radios, etc.
- Travel without back-up plans
- Sign contracts
- Buy a car
- Negotiate a contract
- File a lawsuit
- Start a new job
- Begin a new class
- Go on a “first” date
- Expect things to move quickly
- Take anything for granted
WHAT TO EXPECT
- Angrier people
- Crazy drivers
- More accidents
- Computer problems and breakdowns
- More mistakes
- Slow mail
- Games of phone tag
- Wrong directions
- Missed appointments
- Dead cell phone batteries
What’s Mercury retrograde good for?
If you know when Mercury retrograde hits — which is about every three months — you can work with, rather than against, its energy. Remember there’s a “re” in retrograde. These weeks are good for re-doing just about anything.
- Re-apply for a job
- Re-do hair color
- Re-write your resume
- Review your bank account
- Renew a loan
- Repair your car
- Re-contact past clients
Catch up on all of the tasks you set aside, especially good for cleaning closets, and also have a game-plan in place for when Mercury goes direct.
The Mercury retrograde is also a time to reflect on what you’ve accomplished and where you want to redirect your energies.
There’s that “re” again! We all need time to review and decide if we’re taking the right road. These days give us the opportunity to do so.
We can’t stop our lives every time a retrograde hits. So what can you do when you don’t have a choice?
- Read and re-read contracts. Have someone else look them over, too.
- Check your travel plans several times.
- If you need to, ask questions over and over during negotiations.
- Mail packages and letters early. Check the zip codes.
- Fill your gas tank.
- Don’t check your luggage if you’re flying. Carry on everything if possible.
- If you are making purchases, keep your sales receipt and know the store’s return policy. – Keep your cell phone battery charged.
- Watch your driving.
There are people who never seem to be affected during Mercury retrogrades. Chances are they were born during one! Millions of people are. How do these weeks affect them? Well, Mercury retrograde babies thrive. Things appear easier for them and run smoothly. They get the new job, start building the new house, and travel to fun-filled destinations. If you’re one of these people, you’ll have the edge on everyone else! How do you find out? Your astrology chart will indicate if Mercury was retrograde when you were born.

Most of us set out on the path of self-discovery because we are in pain, or dislike something about our lives. Carl Jung called this Shadow work. This is the work that contains all that we try to deny or hide from ourselves and others. Things we believe are unacceptable. We even believe that there is something wrong with us, that we don’t deserve love and so on.
We fear ourselves and every thought and feeling we have ever repressed. So many of us are disconnected that we can only see it in other people and thereby judge them as having the hidden beast when in reality it lies within us.
But as the great teacher Lazurus said, the shadow also holds the secret of change, change than can affect you on a cellular level, change that can affect your very DNA.
Our shadows hold the essence of who we are. They hold our most precious gifts.
By embracing all sides of ourselves, good/bad, dark/light we earn the freedom to choose what we do in this world.
Until we stop masquerading and projecting we have no freedom to be and no freedom to choose.
Our shadows exist to teach us, guide us and give us the Blessings of our entire selves. (from several teachings of Jung, Chopra, Ford, Small, and so many)2 comments
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?’ Actually who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world. There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. You were born to manifest the glory of God that is within you. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we’re liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” -Marianne Williamson2 comments
Don’t make excuses to yourself or anyone else anymore.
Make yourself a list of all the things you desire. Behind each thing place a Yes and a No box. Check Yes if accomplished, No if not.
This allows you the beauty of truth without frills.
We can make millions of excuses for why we don’t have what we want, but this method is honest.
Yes we have it, no we don’t.
Now, do you really want all of those things? Pick a couple of them and begin to focus your energies in that direction.
Scattering our focus leaves us in the mire of delusion that we can’t have what we want. We can have anything we truly desire, we just have to do the work to get it.
What do you want? Don’t make excuses.1 comment
When you become dissatisfied enough, or uncomfortable enough, you will seek help for change.
Although the truth is that healing only comes from yourself. It takes a great deal of time to see all aspects of ourselves. It’s rather like living in a small community internally. There is the Dictator, The Child, The Romantic, The Thief, The Homebody, The Successful Business Person, The Indolent and so many more; truly, a small town inside.
Healing yourself will come when you are able to communicate with these interior “town” people. When you listen to what they really need you will be able to come to some type of mediation within the self. When parts are listened to and respected they begin to heal.
All any part of us wishes is to be heard, respected, and healed by loving compassion. No matter how harshly you have judged some of these parts, most of them are there to protect you from some form of perceived danger. No comments
Everything the power of the world does is done in a circle.
The sky is round, and I have heard that the earth is round like a ball ..
and so are all the stars.
The wind – in its greatest power – whirls.
Birds make their nest’s in circles ..
for theirs is the same religion as ours.
The sun comes forth and goes down again in a circle.
The moon does the same .. and both are round.
Even the seasons form a great circle and are changing, and
always come back again to where they were.
The life of a man is a circle from childhood to childhood.
And so it is in everything where power moves.

“If there is an aspect of ourselves that we don’t accept, we’ll continually attract people in our lives who act out that aspect. The universe will keep trying to show us who we really are and to help make us whole again.
Most of us have buried these disowned aspects so deep we can’t see where we could possibly be a particular kind of person that we look at with distaste.” The Dark Side of the Light Chasers-Ford1 comment
