I registered 2 Norwegian Pine trees today with the Billion Tree Campaign started by Waangari Mathai ( www.greenbeltmovement.org ).
I can’t tell you what a sense of connectedness that gave me. I felt like a member of a global community instead of an American. I liked that feeling a lot. Very expansive.
It didn’t take much, a few minutes, and it has already transformed my day. I’m looking out today to see what I can do to help others that are looking for help. I’m placing my focus on service today and re-dedicating my spirit to the call of service in us all.
Today is a breath of fresh air.No comments
Good Energy for Change- Saturn (teacher) opposing Neptune (spirituality)
Will be around till mid-summer, so take advantage of this growth and learning.
How it affects you will be different than others because your chart is different.
This is a report on what shadows are appearing for you to heal now, get to work, it’s a window of opportunity!
I’ll send you an email report to guide you through some of your changes
Saturn opposing Neptune is a time of extreme inner conflict which can severely undermine your effectiveness with others. You will become extremely self critical and uncertain about the structure of your life.
Guilt, remorse and more invade the psyche. Everything seems much worse than it is.
Our ideas about the world are changing and we go through a period of disintegrating old patterns and feeling very disoriented
This is a good time to go on a retreat and reflect on what kind of a life and what kind of a world you want to live in.
When your life settles down again you will find that you have a new understanding of the world and in 4 or 5 years when Saturn trines Neptune you will be able to use this newfound knowledge.
We are always supported in our choice. That is the nature of unconditional love. However, there is a law of consequence.
The movement of unconditional love contains a preference for us to return home, to fulfill our nature in love, grace and wholeness.
Ah, the treacheries of free will. We forgot our Divine partnership. Our axis of power reversed, and we were no longer anchored in unconditional love, and with it, the loss of unlimited access to living energy.

Our great deeds do no make us great or safe.
They are a testament to an innate truth.
Claiming our greatness is not fame.
Fame is the reminder.
It is an image on a mirror:
Look through the glass, through the darkness,
Face to face.
Not the truth that struts in our righteous postures,
And our addiction to our fine thoughts.
The truth that weaves itself through our tragedies and triumphs,
That whispers to us in the soft folds of our heart.
When all is said and done, we will reflect upon our sojourn, and say:
“Eternity walked here.”

“We smile in our awareness that the movie called ‘The Secret’ is still not revealing the secret. To call the Law of Attraction a secret is comparable to calling gravity a secret, as if you could keep its obvious results from being noticed. The secret they continue to hide, because of their fear of the response from the general public, is that nonphysical voices have once again, in your time, revealed, with precise detail, your reason for being, your relationship with all that is – and the power of your own connection with Source. By editing out the heart and basis of this message, they have omitted any means of your understanding the affect of the Law of Attraction in your life. Without an understanding of the relationship between you and the Source within you, you are without guidance. And so, the world that surrounds you often seems secretive and ridden with problems beyond your control.” -Abraham-HicksNo comments
I am passionate about many things, but none so as our beautiful planet and the wonders it provides for us.
The Discovery Channel has the trailer link below, click on it to view this amazing short clip.
You Won’t Believe Your Eyes
Discovery Channel’s 11 part mini-series event “Planet Earth” is a show five years in the making.
A co-production with the BBC, “Planet Earth” is the result of 70 camera operators working for five years in over 2000 locations filming the beauty and wonder of planet Earth.
Spiritual teachers have always pointed to the heart as the seat of consciousness, and recently Western science has found evidence to support this realization. It turns out that the heart has its own central nervous system and is not simply under the rule of the brain as formerly believed. Anyone who has taken the time to explore the heart knows this and, more important, has realized that the heart is the source of our connection to a consciousness greater than the ego. Approaching life with an open heart means that we have opened the door to this greater consciousness, taking up residence alongside it in the seat of our soul. Fortunately, at this time there is a lot of support for this shift energetically as well as practically. To some degree, approaching life with an open heart is as simple as shifting your attention onto your heart.
Eventually you will be able do this any time, any place, but at first it may help to try it in a quiet place where you won’t be disturbed. Simply sit with your eyes closed and draw your breath into your heart. As your breath expands your chest cavity, your heart expands and opens. You may feel tenderness or sadness in your heart, and you may also feel relief. Any emotions that arise can be effectively witnessed and healed through the meditation process, which benefits both your physical heart and your energetic heart. The more you practice, the more you will find your heart opening to your own presence and to all the situations your life brings.
When we open our hearts, they may feel tender and vulnerable, which simply means that they need our loving attention as we cleanse and heal them of past hurts and blockages. This process asks us to practice some of the heart’s greatest lessons-patience, compassion, and unconditional love. On the other hand, we may take up residence as effortlessly as a bird returns to its nest. Either way, approaching life with an open heart simply means returning to our true home.
Nothing can take the place of persistence.
Talent will not; the world is full of unsuccessful people with talent.
Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb.
Education alone will not; the world is full of educated derelicts.
Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.

Many people have asked me how my friend Jon is doing. I believe he is doing what any of us would with a diagnosis of terminal cancer and 6 months to live. How this plays out for Jon is that he is eager to do whatever he can before he dies. This means that the moments are more important to him; friends and family are not taken for granted. There is always the thought that this may be the last time I do this, or see this person etc.
Spending time with him runs the gamut of emotions from awkward to embracing.
There is a stillness in his presence now, perhaps that is the wrong word……..better, it is a timelessness that I feel. Jon is much more in the moment and that pulls those around him into it also.No comments
Frustration in your work, obstacles in the path of cherished professional and social goals, and conflicts or increased responsibilities in your domestic life may all conspire to make you feel deeply challenged.
This can help you discover new resources of strength and self-discipline.
Usually the real conflict is within yourself. You may have to adapt your abilities to mundane reality.
This gives you time to formulate your goals more clearly and aim for what is possible rather than what is ideal.
And this can prove extremely beneficial and constructive in designing a better life. You may be challenged to define who you want to be in the world with respect to the nature of reality all around you.
This is the laying of a foundation for your future path in life, and if you move slowly and with insight you will be able to lay those foundations solidly and reap the rewards over the years to come.No comments
From the physical perspective, most of you believe that your beliefs are the right ones, and if you disagree with someone then they must be wrong. But from the Nonphysical standpoint, it is not seen as right and wrong. It is seen as the powerful diversity that stimulates thought, and from the Nonphysical perspective, you enjoy that diversity.

Sometimes when I am clearing old issues I forget that is what I am doing and get attached all over again.
Lately some uncomfortable feelings from the past and some I don’t even know about have been hovering around me like a fog. This has been a little disconcerting as I struggled to see through and what it was I needed to do. Making excuses that it is the spring, or any number of reasons on that list we all keep so handy.
As these energies come up wave after wave I had the opportunity to see the choice of releasing or re-attaching. My choice depends on my awareness. It is very easy to think something is wrong instead of clearing.
I made it through a pretty big one in about a week. Of course I had help. Thank god for friends! Friends who see clearly and are honest and gifted in their perceptions.
Then I just have to struggle with my own strict code of “you are weak if you can’t do it by yourself, you don’t need help”………which is really not true for me and is another one of those heavy energies that are clearing. This one is a family/genetic code. I wouldn’t have even caught that if it weren’t for another’s astute observations.
I think it is very important for all of us in these powerful times of change to seek the help we need in whatever area works for us.2 comments
What gives meaning to any emotional, material or intellectual challenges and changes you might encounter is your spiritual life.
Such changes may be subtle and slow to register on your awareness, but they may profoundly influence the way you experience and interpret what happens to you over time.
Never underestimate the importance of the meaning you assign to events, because the clearer your vision, the more likely you are to work with the time in constructive and creative ways.
Sometimes you will experience a deeper sense of connection to the greater whole of which you are a part, although such a feeling may not remain with you all the time.4 comments
We all have many “buttons”. You know, somebody says something and you react because it is an “issue” for you.
I’ve noticed that people will deny this, “oh no, it isn’t me! It’s you, and you are wrong because you don’t think in an enlightened way.” Wow, that really sounds enlightened, doesn’t it?
My way, your way, when we peel down below the surface, or better yet, peel up above the surface, none of that matters.
We express facets of our lives, many facets of the jewell of our lives. We need to feel free and safe enough to expose our humaness as evolving beings.
Our buttons can go off if there is a judgment of that……that is, if we have an issue surrounding being judged. :>)No comments
Spring, where is it? And what does it mean when we don’t get our flowers and fruits because of the cold? I’m creeped out by our lack of spring this year. There won’t be any “heady” perfumes from our lilacs, and the peonies are wilted on the ground.
I could almost go into a metaphor for life, but that seems pretty depressing………….albeit probably true.
With all the news lately about global warming and ice caps down…….I saw the pictures and I’m still reeling…….here it is in our own back yards. And what will we do if we can’t grow our food, or for most people, what will they do when the trucks don’t bring in the food because there isn’t any to spare.
Rachel something wrote a book many years ago called Silent Spring. It isn’t that yet, but it feels like a pre-cursor.
The times that so many have written about for so many years are creeping into reality. It just isn’t happening overnight, but it is steadily happening right in front of our eyes.3 comments
I feel like I’m in a vacuum today. The day after a family gathering or the day after a holiday is like that.
I exert so much energy to make things special and lively for us all. I wonder why. Mostly it seems like the family grudgingly come in hopes they will be entertained, not have to do much, and leave. I wonder if they would just like to stay home and not bother. And I really wonder why it is important to me.
Maybe it’s my desire to recapture the magic of my childhood. After these gatherings the last few years I have the feeling of being in a vacuum, of having exerted so much effort to hold us all together it leaves me feeling drained.
Looks like I have a few issues to clear. And maybe a lovely afternoon nap.No comments
I have a fondness for old things. As if by holding them or reading old texts I could capture something beautiful that is missing in this time. Some of that is the old phrase, the grass is always greener, but some is valuing the richness of life and time.
I found an old book, probably early 1800’s, called As A Man Thinketh by James Allen from Ilfracombe, England.
He has this to say: “A man is literally what he thinks, his character being the complete sum of all his thoughts. As the plant springs from, and could not be without, the seed, so every act of a man springs from the hidden seeds of thought, and could not have appeared without them. Act is the blossom of thought, and joy and suffering are its fruits; thus does a man garner in the sweet and bitter fruitage of his own husbandry.”
Lately there has been much discussion and interest in the Law of Attraction. Truly, this is nothing new, as Mr. Allen so eloquently wrote about in his small book, our thoughts truly create our lives. And I find now that all my rebellion against discipline was self-defeating and that indeed, disciplining the thoughts is being a good gardener, which I already am with my plants.
I’m imagining that I have rows of seeds in my mind and I’m watering them.No comments
I don’t think I’ve ever felt the deep change from winter to spring as much as this year. This is my time of re-birth.
Perhaps it is because I am emerging after a long, dark night into happier and more fulfilling energies. The feeling is, almost out of the cocoon or chrysalis, still clinging to parts of my form but I’m almost out.
This is exciting because I haven’t been here before, and even though that may have been true throughout my life, it is more deeply felt at this time.
The old patterns are almost gone, even places I counted on for refuge, gone. The swiftness and the finality of this is REAL now. The change I have sought so long and so painfully, is here.
Now what do I want to do!! Yippee, it’s spring and I get to create any kind of life I want. I haven’t felt this free since I was young.1 comment
“Our shadows exist to teach us, guide us, and give us the blessing of our entire selves. They are resources for us to expose and explore. The feelings that we have suppressed are desperate to be integrated into ourselves. They are only harmful when they are repressed; then they can pop up at the least opportune times. Their sneak attacks will handicap you in the areas of your life that mean the most. “ -Dark Side of the Light Chasers
It takes me years of study and research to begin understanding. With shadows, my first response was generally denial or disbelief. Then moving on through more study, a kind of grudging belief that perhaps this could be true. Now as events come up in my life I grab hold of what is this shadow and how can I allow it real expression? What has it brought to me and why now?
So, another sneak attack and as I look at this particular shadow I find I’m really liking the beauty of it and the acceptance that I am gifted in this way.2 comments
Most of us long to experience peace of mind. This is a life-long pursuit, a task that calls for nothing less than embracing the totality of our being.
Discovering the gifts of even our most hated qualities is a creative process that needs only a deep desire to listen and learn, a willingness to release dysfunctional judgments and beliefs, and a readiness to feel better.
Your true self makes no judgments.
Only our fear-driven egos use judgments to protect us.
We must be prepared to love all that we have feared.
