“To myself I am only a child playing on the beach, while vast oceans of truth lie undiscovered before me.” -Isaac Newton
Today is my grandson Clint’s, 7th Birthday! He reminds me of the above quote and refreshes my mind with the truth of a seven year olds world. I wish we adults would guide these children better and allow their fertile minds to discover the vast oceans of truth before them. Through the gate of emptiness a child sees the vast unknown and it becomes his field of joy.No comments
September is here this weekend, a beautiful month of cool evenings and still warm days.
15 days after the August Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse in Pisces we get another Eclipse, this time at the New Moon and it is Solar. At the same time a Grand Cross or Grand Square will happen which is an energy configuration that leads to new discoveries and greater understanding. This Grand Square demands: IMPECCABILITY – OPENMINDEDNESS – INTUITION – MORE INFORMATION
*The Virgo New Moon/ Solar Eclipse of September 11th is about balancing karma, old patterns that no longer serve you can now be dissolved. We feel ready to move forward this month.
Review, release and realign!
And as Marianne Williamson said so eloquently, “You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world. We were born to make manifest the glory that is within us. It is not in some of us, it is in everyone.”
Many dates in September will afford you the opportunity to have the life you truly desire. Some of these dates are:
September 3rd, 7th , 8th , 11th , 21st , 26th
The Aries Full Moon on September 26th is the Harvest Moon, this will help to shine light on what our next step should be. It’s time to balance our lives-where are we out of balance? All of our relationships will be scrutinized at this time.
Consider having a full birth chart with transits done in person to take advantage of the help the planets offer you at certain times. No need hitting your head against the wall using old patterns that aren’t working anymore.
In person readings are one hour, intuitive interpretations with suggestions, taped and about 15 typewritten pages.

Go ahead, light your candles and burn your incense and ring your bells and call out to God, but watch out, because God will come and He will put you on His anvil and fire up His forge and beat you and beat you until He turns brass into pure gold.

I’ve been preparing for this next phase of my life for awhile These things don’t happen overnight usually.
As I sat last night ruminating over the upcoming celebration of my life I remembered the women who have molded me, changed me, loved me, supported me, believed in me and were always there, no matter what.
It isn’t that there weren’t also men, but mostly there is that sexual thing that goes on like a film over the communion of communicating. And I honestly believe that, although similar, we are so unlike in so many ways I wonder how we propagate at all.
So, women; how awesome to have women friends. You know they have gone through similar changes and that they understand, unless they have sold out, and then, they aren’t friends anyway. :>)
I didn’t have many women friends in my youth. There was way too much competition for the “guys” and status and all of the stuff that we learn through, like stepping stones out of the pit.
When I did start developing deep and lasting friendships with women I was in my mid- 20′s. They stand like watermarks of power and evolution. And it just got better.
Now, where I stand and look back and hold dear all the women who informed me of who I really was by their example.
Thank you Grandmother Emelia, Aunt Betty, The Barker Girls, The Schroeders, Great Aunt Annie, Helen, Mrs. Daly, Mrs. Koepple, Mrs. Messinger. Arlene Madsen, Mrs. Reckmeyer, Mrs. Fredstrom, Joann, Mom, Denine Collura, Susan Heatherington, Sam, Janet, Krishnapriya, Jyoti, Gautami, Sukanya, Fran, Billy Joe, Jude, Patt, Donna, Loretta,Linda, Genevieve, Ellen, Katy, Kay, Mary, Helen Jordan, Marya Lucca Thyberg, Ree Schonlau, Eddith Buis, Mary Catherine Burgess, Priya, Zulma, Trish, Kathleen, Kate, Leela, Deb, Bambi, Linda, Dixie Clark, Dee, Sylvia, Sandy, Lisa (Vidyarani), Suzanne, Susie, Michele, Sonia, and so many more.
This phase I am now entering is of the real power of women. It doesn’t mean that men are not special to me. I have two sons I connect with in wonderful ways, I adore my 3 grandsons, honor my 3 marriages and still love those men. I hope that more men come into my life.
But they will never be women. No comments
Glory be to God whose power, working in us, can do infinitely more than we can ask or imagine. Ephesians 3:21
These are my favorite types of days. The days that are filled with enthusiasm, excitement and strong rushes of energy to complete many projects.
I’ve been dry for a while. Dry for me is to not have some type of passionate project, it leaves me feeling, what’s the use? I’m not dry any longer.
A culmination of many years is now coming to celebration and closure. I turn 60 in October. At first I thought I might just “go away” for awhile and be alone with the impact of what this means. Then I became inspired to celebrate a really amazing life.
When a thing has good energy, God’s power working in us, there is no telling where it will go. This in one of those things.
Much is in the works and in 53 days many accomplishments to pull off this celebration are starting to happen.
Food, growing it, preparing it, enjoying it, have been an enormous part of my life and to honor that I am resurrecting the Incredible Edible Art Show.
Art has ever been with me in so many medias I forget them all. I will showcase the new Astro Essence figures created from inspiration and visions of a person’s astrological chart.
A photo show of the poignant memories of the life.
A blessing and closing ceremony of the past 60 years………..allowing me to face the future free and unencumbered by past feelings that no longer fit who I want to be next.
I’m sending out the call………….come help me celebrate and release on Thursday, October 18th at the Omaha Healing Arts Center. No comments
Well, it is certainly good to be back on line at home and have all of my email addresses intact!! Note my new email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Next Tuesday, August 28th is the Full Moon in Pisces and a Lunar Eclipse. Full Moon’s tend to be a little emotional whether that is a good thing or not kind of depends on how you handle your emotions.
Being in the watery sign of Pisces there can be a little difficulty with focus. Pisces is hypersensitive and you will be picking up on everybody’s vibrations, not just your own. Pisces is very compassionate, accepting and can have a little trouble with boundaries.
When you throw an Eclipse into the works you will be wanting to look at what is changing and ending in your life and how can you let go of it so the energies will be a little smoother for you. Eclipses bring dramatic news, usually from the outside in. You won’t see whatever news you get coming, but afterwards, you will view yourself, your abilities, your priorities, and your future in a whole new light.
For the sign of Pisces, Lunar full moon eclipses bring endings, which is why they often are so emotional. Memories, dreams, and hopes all come into play. eclipses can be draining. Sometimes health problems show up at eclipse time, but if so, again, the eclipse is trying to make you aware of something so that you will quickly go for help.
Allow for the possibility that you won’t fully understand all that is happening at once, but only in hindsight, weeks or even months from now. Eclipses kick up lots of cosmic dust, so it takes time to assimilate all the shifts.
For those Tauruses out there, you had a similar eclipse 19 years ago, on August 28, 1988. You might want to think back to what happened then if you are old enough. Other planets have since changed position of course, but at the very least, you can get an idea of the themes that may emerge now. Remember that all eclipses come in pairs, so the next one, falling in your house of true love, will arrive on September 11. Until these comic storms blow through the prairie, so to speak, close the shutters and batten down the hatches. You can withstand any challenge, for you are a steadfast Taurus.

The unfolding of the human heart is artful and mysterious. We might wish the path to enlightenment were orderly and predictable, but the ways of the heart are a landscape discoverable only in the journey. We cannot capture freedom and place it in time.
For the mature spirit, freedom is the journey itself. It is like a labyrinth, a circle, a flower’s petal-by-petal opening, or a deepening spiral, a dance around the still point, the center of all things.
There are always changing cycles – ups and downs, openings and closings, awakenings to love and freedom, often followed by new and subtle entanglements. In the course of this great spiral, we return to where we started again and again, but each time with a fuller, more open heart.

When I still allowed myself the luxury of reading novels, one of my favorites were the Dune books written by Frank Herbert. I picked one up the other day and opened it to this page:
“Good government never depends upon laws, but upon the personal qualitites of those who govern. The machinery of government is always subordinate to the will of those who administer that machinery. The most important element of government, therefore, is the method of choosing leaders.”
I’m feeling a deep need for change in the way we are governed as a people. Our government has such a death hold on each of us I wonder how we will ever get our rights back? And also, what can I do as an individual against that big machine? I muse about not paying taxes and have mixed feelings about that. I truly wish to support my country in what it needs, aid for the poor, better and smaller schools, healthcare for all, freedom to live life at a slower pace without having to pour most of our energy into just getting by. I wish not to fund war, it goes against every principle I live by which is to cause no harm.
One of my favorite astrologers, Simone Butler made some comments about August that I can really relate to:
“I love how astrology parallels current events. Sicko, Michael Moore’s terrific expose of the U.S. health care system, debuted during Saturn (reality) in Leo (executive privilege). That two-year transit, which ends this month, has illuminated nefarious abuses of power. As shown in Sicko, this includes the denial by HMOs of desperately needed medical procedures, often resulting in needless deaths.
While investigating socialized medicine in France and England, Moore discovered that both patients and doctors were happy with their system. In fact, he was assured that citizens would revolt if their rights to free health care were threatened. Particularly in France, with its long history of public protest, the government is afraid of the people and bows to their collective will.
In the U.S., however, people are afraid of the government and succumb to its rule. Health care reform will require Americans to stand up for their rights. As Saturn moves into health-conscious Virgo in early Sept., watch for a two-year dismantling and rebuilding process. Reform is inevitable. Already there is talk of Congress instituting free coverage for uninsured children. Yet we must let our opinions be known, whether by writing letters to Congress or the local newspaper, or staging public events in support of the health care system we want.
The time is ripe for speaking out and taking action: On August 6, loquacious Jupiter turns forward after four months in retrograde, and Mars hops into fast-talking Gemini until the end of Sept. As Saturn sweeps through the final degrees of Leo, we’re asked to claim our sovereignty on both a public and personal level. We often forget that we govern our own reality. What are the principles that make your life work? And, are there ways you’re failing to uphold them?
With five planets in Leo at the August 12 New Moon, it’s time to find pleasures that help, rather than harm, us. We can use all that fun, fiery energy to cook healthy meals for each other or play games together. A lazy day in the park or swim at the beach might leave you feeling better than an expensive night on the town. The New Moon opposes imaginative Neptune, so a stimulating art project or musical outing could also get your creative juices flowing.”No comments
God of passionate life, who sends the sparks, who lights the inner blaze and tends the flame, fill us with your radiance.
Enkindle us with your love. Touch us with your goodness so that we will be the kindling of your generous compassion.
May the truth we seek and accept shine through all we are and do. God of passionate life, stir up the embers of our joy! Amen

Life is flowing like silk right now, how I love this feeling. This week I’ve been able to stay in faith and trust, not just the words but the energy and it feels like flowing silk.
A project I thought was daunting is not, one down the road is beckoning me and looks to be filled with laughter and happy peace.
Family relations are untangled right now, friends are all around in good times and new friends are coming in. Social engagements I’ve shunned for years are happening and it is fun!
Light of day! Can I please stay here!No comments
The Sun and Saturn are conjunct next week, this is a powerful force for getting things done-for taking responsibility with a vengence, otherwise you’ll just get run over.
Turn your attention to the tasks at hand and complete them-no more procrastination, just DO IT!!
This conjunction exposes what is a real responsibility and what is just assumed as one.
How this will affect you depends on the house it falls in. Mine will be in the 7th of Partnerships/relationships, something I’ve been working diligently on these past years. I’m hopeful to finally “blow through” some of these responsibilities and own what is really mine and let go of what is not!
I love this stuff!!! Let me know if you would like a mini interpretation of how this will be affecting you.No comments
Coming out in a different way and rather rapidly this month. Sometimes when the changes are so radical it can create confusion and despair. So this time, I’m breathing and telling myself it will be ok, this will pass. I’m breathing a lot this week as I open up an artistic side of myself that I have longed to express.
Part of the day is filled with excitement and passion for this project I’m working on and another part is freaking out with all the what if’s?
Moving on and coming out with all my stuff! No comments
Without the transcendent and the transpersonal, we get sick……..or else hopeless and apathetic. We need something bigger than we are to be awed by and to commit ourselves to.

This earth is our mother. Whatever befalls the earth befalls the sons and daughters of the earth. This we know. All things are connected like the blood which unites one family. All things are connected.
Whatever befalls the earth befalls the sons and daughters of the earth. We did not weave the web of life, we are merely a strand in it. Whatever we do to the web we do to ourselves.

What message are you giving to yourself, your community, your world?
When Mahatma Gandhi was asked by a reporter for a message to the Indian people, just as his train was pulling out, he scrawled on a piece of paper, “My life is my message.”
Let your life be the message, your gift, you would give the world. No comments
Some pretty good stuff happening around this New Moon in Leo! Cleared through a block about work I’ve been dealing with for almost 5 years! Such great clarity and new ideas I feel like a fresh wind has just blown through my life!
Our Spirituality Gathering also had some breakthroughs and grew closer and more open than I’ve seen it. Heartwarming indeed!
I love it when all the work we put into change happens and we forget how long and hard it has taken us to get here-it just feels so good!No comments
Growth, if you haven’t got it yet, this is what we came here to do.
This accelerated rate of growth and change unsettles us. It provokes us constantly to take stock of our lives, to question our beliefs and our models, and to examine our ways of thinking, feeling and acting. It demands that we embrace change rather than resist it, that we become actively engaged in the process of our lives.
We are challenged to develop a more enlightened way of living, one that requires awareness of all that is around and within us. This means awareness not only of what is readily apparent to the physical senses, but also what is available to us through our inner, specifically intuitive, senses.
Listen to your intuition, learn to trust it above all else.No comments
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us…..
Playing small doesn’t serve the world.
There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God within us.
It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone.
And as we let our light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

Jacquelyn Small speaks eloquently of how many of us experience change:
“Accelerated transformation is usually experienced as an “involuntary” process resulting from a crisis in one’s outer life-such as the break-up of a cherished relationship, the death of a loved one, or a near-death experience. Some people, however, may actually volunteer for this roller-coaster ride to a whole new level of being by consciously choosing to hit bottom-suddenly quitting a job, attending a transformational workshop, and so forth. Whatever the case, when we undergo such an all encompassing change, our inner seasonal birthing process becomes more accelerated. We begin to rapidly experience dramatic death/rebirth sequences.”
In order to be born, we must die first, and that is truly what I have been struggling with. This death process, or letting go. Sometimes it just feels like I’ll stay in Limbo and make no changes at all, but that only works for a little while. No comments
It is the worst thing when people do not know how to escape from the old rut. It is dreadful when they approach new conditions with their old habits. Just as it is impossible to open a present-day lock with a medieval key, likewise it is impossible for people with old habits to unlock the door of the future.

I cancelled my Cox internet subscription. That may not sound like much, but it laid to rest about 15 years of an email address and an old way of life. I feel liberated from the past and a little freer to step into an unknown future. Excited by the prospect of the unknown and entering a deeper daydreaming phase of what I want in my future. No comments
